Designer Redwood Decking
Redwood decking was a very popular choice for building projects 40 to 50 years ago. In many areas it was more popular than cedar. Its use dropped significantly starting the 1990’s when the state of California passed more laws and regulations to reduce the harvesting of Redwoods and increased areas of preservation. Availability was greatly reduced and prices climbed in response. Over the past 5 years, Redwood is now making a comeback as the availability is now more secure and sustainable. Its performance as an outdoor material is only rivaled by Petrified Ash, Ipe and Cumaru. Kwaterski Bros Wood Products offers Designer Redwood decking in Clear All Heart Vertical or Mixed Grain grades in 2×6. It is then milled into our micro crown radius edge pattern and fully sanded for a Redwood decking second to none.
